About the compilation:
MICROCOSM collects artists spread across Denmark working in very different genres. Some are veterans of the Danish scene, others are newcomers. What they all have in common, though, is a predilection for trashy, homerecorded music.

The compilation does not attempt to map out the network of Danish artists dealing in lo-fi for the sake of the aesthetic, but rather the underlying DIY-culture that has been sorely neglected by Danish mainstream press. It is this culture that MICROCOSM is a humble tribute to.
